| Travel |
| Travel
expenses (airfare, ground
transportation, and/or mileage) are
pooled among the Sections.
The expenses for each registrant
are initially paid for by their Section.
After the event, Sections will report
their travel expenses. The
amounts are added together and then
divided by the total number of registrants.
This amount is billed (or reimbursed)
to each Section based on how many
registrants come from their Section.
This method spreads the expense evenly
among the Sections, making it equitable
regardless of where the participants
travel from to Indianapolis. Individuals
should have their Section reimburse
them for their airline ticket upon
purchase. Sections then submit
those expenses as part of the pool.
This way, no individual is waiting
until after the event for reimbursement
of a ticket they purchased themselves. |
| |
| Hotel Rooms |
| Hotel sleeping
room costs are not pooled. ACA
has reserved a block of rooms. Participants
will phone and reserve their own room. Sections
should arrange for the payment for
the rooms of their participants. We
have negotiated a very reasonable room
rate of $114
plus state & local taxes per
night for a single or double. |
| The "guarantee/cut-off" date on reservations for this rate has been extended to 6:00 pm, September 19th. Please be sure to register by that date.. |
| |
| The planning committee
has begun its work for this event.
They will be asking for Section input
into the development of the event. |
